If you archery hunt when do you start to parctice for the season

I usually practice all year round, except when the weather gets to bad in the later months. I shot about 100 arrows a day at different yardage. I also shot my broadheads during this time as well. I have two sights that I use so I just take one off and use the other one. My field tips and broadheads don't group together but they are close. It just drives me insane to hear people tell me that they only practice a couple days before the season starts and then I hear that they hit a deer and didn't recover it. I will have to say this that in the last two seasons I have not practiced much at all because of my back situation. But I do practice enough with my broadhead setup to know that a deer out to 30 yards is in the freezer!

I start about a month before the season. I shoot of the roof of my house to get enough distance and elevation. The last couple of years, I've been one of those people that drives you insane. With the herniated disc and nerve problems I shot very little before the season. I tried to shoot at least six arrows each time, that's all I could shoot.
I shoot about a month before as well. Than when I get to the camp, I will shoot about 6 arrows at different distances to make sure nothing has changed on my bow.
I also shoot year round. I would like to find a indoor range for the winter months but none around unless you want to drive for 2 hours (1 way) or better.
