Chipper and I found some acorns on the ground this weekend. They are from a Saw Tooth Swamp Oak, White Oak family. Some were almost as big as golf balls. I hunt near that tree last Saturday, but nothing was moving, it was hot and nasty.
Conditions are going to change this weekend, the temps are going to be down by 15-18 degrees for both highs and lows. We are suppose to be at 49 degrees for Saturday morning. Then the long range forecast calls for temps in the 30s for the following weekend, so this should fire things up a bit. Now if we could get rid of the mosquitoes!
