The Rut is almost here and the hunter's of Alabama are getting ready.Even though I have gain it seems like thirty pounds over the holidays it is now time for me to loose some of that weight by sitting long hours waiting on the one buck that has been around for a while.Season here in Alabama ends on sunday the 31st.

Still leaving plenty of time to take a great buck here.The cold weather has finaly set in and hopefuly here to stay for a while.Signs of scrapes are increasing and rubs are seemingly getting old.Not a lot of rubbing this season where I hunt but plenty of sign of scrapes.My goal is to harvest a buck that I hae been after for the past two seasons.He has been seen four times this year sense bow season started back in October.There has yet been a chance to shoot him.Most of the viewing of this buck has been leaving the stand either in the mornings and once in my own back yard.

Hunting this late season buck has my nerves rattling and I have yet to get this rascal on game camera.So my dream is to stay in there and hang out where his bedding is and hope the good Lord will bless me.He is roughly a 12 point that will score in the mid 150's.I hope to bring you a picture of this buck soon weather it be on game camera or on the ground.Hopefully on the ground.So if you are hunting Alabama stay in the woods cause the bucks are begining to chase and will continue for the rest of the season.
