Almost Back Home

WELL, Almost back home, its April Fools Day the beginning of trout season in NY and I'll probably wait a few more weeks till the creeks lower a little...Turkey season May 1st..opens on a Sunday and I will probably not go....I like to have a family day on Sunday...but Monday watch out...it is looking up to be a great year for turks and deer........

Devan on April 22, 2011 at 6:38am: Bubba, I'm glad your feeling better...been doing trout fishing in the streams, with all the rain its been a little tough for an old guy like me that wears a brace now...but I caught some nice browns and when the water goes down we'll hit it again.....soon it'll be turk hunting (next week May 1st) and Walleye with the boat a week after that...I'll be busy...but thats good news that your feeling better

I've been down with the asthma so long, I haven't felt like doing too much, but I'm feeling much better now. I have felt good for three days in a row, that's a good thing. Elbis and I are going to try a little beam fishing Saturday morning, the spawn should be starting any day now.
