It seems like we have been hunting for months, and the rut is not here yet. We flip flop back and forth between 80 degrees and 23 degrees about every three days, and it's taking it's toll on me. I'm coming down with something again. I've been to the doctor more times this year, than any year in my memory, except for my football playing days. I think that I've developed asthma in my old age and now I've got something on top of that. Maybe it's good that I'll be home for the next two weekends. I'll take my meds like a good boy and be ready to hunt after Christmas. The rut should be in full swing by the week after Christmas.

Hang in there Bubba, the best part of the season is yet to come.  Just rest up and get well so you can enjoy it.
